We're so sorry for your loss. This page is how to report a Me Journal user's death.
How this works
Submit this form — we send you a confirmation email with a reference number.
Email the death certificate (and proof of your relationship to the deceased) to bereavement@me-journal.com with that reference.
Within 14 days, we review the documents and email you with the decision: approved, denied, or request for additional info.
If approved, a 30-day cooling-off period begins (a standard safeguard against rare false reports). During this period, we send the deceased's email address several reminders saying "if you're alive, click here to stop this process".
After 30 days, we execute the data preferences your loved one set on their account: delete, transfer to their nominated legacy contact, or keep dormant.
